‘Jack of all trades’ well-suited for health services

Initially set on studying psychology, Travis Thomas discovered VCU’s health services program during his freshman year and found it perfectly balanced his interests in psychology, finance, ethics, and health systems. Now a graduating senior, he's poised for graduate studies and a career devoted to improving equitable health care delivery.

New university-wide minor in Research Ecosystems debuts

The College launched an 18-credit undergraduate minor in Research Ecosystems designed to introduce students to the operational, regulatory and strategic dimensions of research conduct and management. Developed through a university-wide collaboration, the program equips students with team science, compliance and project management skills. It culminates in a hands-on internship and prepares them for roles that support the research enterprise.
