Lauren serves as the Assistant Program Director of the Bachelor of Science in Health Services Program for the College of Health Professions. She has a B.S. in Human Resource Management and an M.Ed. in Adult Learning, both from VCU. She is currently a Ph.D. student in VCU's School of Education studying Adult Learning Leadership and Education Equity.

Since joining VCU in 2010, Lauren has worked in Human Resources in the Learning & Development and Employee Benefits Department before transitioning into program management in the School of Education. Since 2019, she has worked in the College of Health Professions. Prior to joining VCU, Lauren worked in Human Resources in the Healthcare field. Lauren’s research interest is on Leading in a VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) World as well as her dissertation research on Organizational and Leadership support of Adult Learners. Lauren has been a board member of the YMCA since 2020, she enjoys spending time with her Husband and Son.
