Todd Van Wieren, PhD, LPC, CRC, CVE
Adjunct Faculty
Todd Van Wieren earned his B.A. in Psychology from Calvin University, his M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Iowa, and his Ph.D. in Health-Related Sciences (concentration in Rehabilitation Leadership) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE). His professional experience includes a supervisory role within a private rehabilitation firm in Pittsburgh, and over two decades coordinating accommodations for university students with disabilities in Pennsylvania. He has also served intermittently as an adjunct professor for VCU’s graduate Rehabilitation Counseling program since 2007, as well as other graduate Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs. He presently serves on the editorial review board for the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability (JPED), and is the current chair of AHEAD’s Research Review Panel.
