Meredith Dean joined the College in October of 2021 and now serves as the Program Manager for the Bachelors of Science in Health Services program. She was previously Program Coordinator for Student Success in the College of Health Professions, Dean's Office. In this role, she is responsible for providing programming and administrative support to the B.S. in Health Services program, the Director of Academic Advising, and the Director of Recruitment and Student Programs.  She also supports Student Success initiatives, including the CHP Alumni Mentoring Program, the CHP Emergency Fund and other scholarship programs, the CHP Tutoring Program, and the CHP Peer Mentoring Program. 

Prior to her role in the College of Health Professions, she earned her Bachelors from Virginia Commonwealth University in Psychology and Political Science. She is passionate about policy pertaining to Early Childhood Education and Care and seeks to enter the Nonprofit sector devoted to that area. Outside work, she is an avid home baker, hiker, and you'll find her picking up trash on Sundays at local RVA parks.
