Bio

Dr. Hovermale received her PhD in Health Related Sciences, concentration in Rehabilitation Leadership, as well as a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Dr. Hovermale has a professional background in adolescent and community mental health along with organizational consulting. Dr. Hovermale joined the BSHS program as an adjunct faculty, and now serves as an assistant professor for the program.
