Ari Laoch (R-ee Lay-Awk), He/They is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer. Ari Received his Master of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University where he is currently pursuing his PhD in an interprofessional Health-Related Science program. They are currently working fulltime as a mental health and substance use counselor at a community-based organization providing free and low cost counseling, they also provide free Gender Confirming Surgery (GCS) letters to community members who wish to pursue GCS. His clinical focus is built within cultural humility for adults within LGBTQIA+, SGL, MSM, WSW communities, persons who want to discuss substance use, adults seeking a polyamorous knowledgeable provider, persons living with HIV/AIDS, as well as adults seeking a kink-knowledgeable professional. Ari teaches clinicians and students about engaging in service provision from a collaborative and culturally humble mindset to support folx authentically. They advocate for affirming and knowledgeable treatment. Liberation for all!
